With the emergence of technology and the globalization of communication, financial fraud is becoming more of a reality for businesses both small and large. Various sources estimate that an average of 60-80 percent of businesses will experience financial fraud with loses ranging from a few dollars into the hundreds of thousands. This seminar will review the types of financial fraud effecting businesses with examples of experiences from local and regional organizations. We will review internal controls and best practices to identify and prevent attempted fraud, as well as financial products available in the marketplace to further secure your money from criminals.
