On February 9th, 2010 the Chamber of Commerce will hold the annual Economic Outlook Breakfast at The Chariot, 715 N. Church Street, Hendersonville. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 am. The program, sponsored by Wachovia Bank, a Wells Fargo Company, will begin at 8:00 am. “The Chamber is pleased to partner with Wachovia and Wells Fargo once again for our annual economic breakfast. Adam York, Wells Fargo and Company Economist, will be present to give insight into the economic outlook for 2010.,” said Sandy Tallant, 2010 Chamber Board of Directors Chairman. York, based in Charlotte, is responsible for writing indicator reports, conducting research, and producing commentary on U.S. consumer, residential real estate, and housing markets. He also contributes to the company’s U.S. macroeconomic outlook report. Adam joined the company in 2006 as an economic analyst and was subsequently promoted to his current position. His economics commentary has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Business Week, and Bloomberg News. He is also a frequent guest on radio programs such as Marketplace on National Public Radio, Associated Press, Bloomberg, and WSJ Radio. Adam earned his B.A. in economics from Davidson College. Cost to attend the breakfast is $15 per person for Chamber members, $25 per person for non-members. Tables of 8 may be reserved for $100.
