It's no secret that business people get more from their memberships when they get involved with the committees and divisions within the Chamber. A great deal of the work of the Chamber is carried out by volunteers on various committees. Volunteers discover that time spent on committee work often generates new business contacts and establishes a presence for their company.

The Chamber, through partnerships with others in the community, is continually involved in developing an educated, trained and unparalleled workforce, making sure our current workers are trained to do the jobs of today and our school children are prepared to handle the jobs of tomorrow.

The Henderson County Chamber of Commerce offers many ways for members to get involved with the membership and the community through a variety of volunteer committees and divisions. Any of these programs can result in wonderful networking and personal growth opportunities for our members.

Below is a list of all the committees and divisions with a link to the detailed description of each in the Program of Work section that follows. We hope you'll find one that interests you. If you would like more information about any of the programs outlined here, how to get more involved in your Chamber, or if you are not a member and would like to become a part of the Chamber, please give us a call at 828.692.1413 or email us at chamber@hendersoncountychamber.org. We look forward to serving you!
